GUERILLA ART MOVEMENT WORKSHOP

The Gorilla was invited to San Diego to hold an art workshop. Or was it really just the kick-off opening of the San Diego Chapter of the Guerilla Art Movement?
A loyal fan of the Movement made a new nest for The Gorilla to rest in, and then set him up a workspace with a welder and plenty of materials to draw from. On the first afternoon we got set up and collected some materials to get an idea of what was available and fabricated a few items to make sure everything was ready for the next day.
Here is a picture from our secret lair.
Then of course we had to go distribute a few items upon society to get in the mood. The Gorilla was caught in action wrestling an alligator.
The workshop was a fantastic success with at least eighteen items created and almost reaching celebrity status. Just kidding, but we did get invited to dinner with a patron of the arts on our second night in town. We put together an owl as a memento of our visit for our dinner host. Much to our surprise, the Mrs. gladly accepted the owl and seemed quite excited as she said she actually collected owls. Not sure we believed her, then she showed us some of her collection, and sure enough, she did indeed love owls!
HOW NOW BROWN COW

Brown? Sort of looks like a really light brown, maybe a brighter color than that. OK, it is sort of yellow even. Hidden carefully off Hwy 101 heading North between Morgan Hill and San Jose, California. This one has lasted a little while even as it sits just by a fence near some bushes, so I guess its not as easily noticed. Except in the Morning when the sun hits it, then she sort of pops out like a bumble bee.

Oh crazy fish, I guess big fish eat small fish, so this one is bar-b-queing away. Seen on a fence overlooking the San Diego Bay. San Diego Bay, what the hay? Stay tuned for more updates.

Bored while hanging out in line for your Micky D’s tasty treats? A little spider was snuck in Mission Impossible style for a mid-day delivery onto a trellis located between the Order and Pick-up windows, just waiting to surprise the hungry guests. She hung out only a week until she went on to spin a bigger web somewhere else.

Ah the joys of the rat race. As depicted by a rat climbing a ladder. This is gracing a parking structure in a high end part of town.

Smaller (as in about two feet) sail fish, hanging on a fence at a City service yard for school traffic to enjoy while stuck at a stop sign.
